How it works

Three steps to
your first round

Hang the bar, load the sticks and switch it on. The bar lets the sticks drop, and you try to catch them before they reach the floor.

1. Hang the bar
Clip the cord onto the two loops on top of the bar and hang it from a secure point at a height you can reach, so the bar sits level and still.
2. Load the sticks
Push each grab stick up into its slot until it holds. Steady the bar with your other hand. It takes 6 or 8 sticks, depending on the style.
3. Switch on and catch
Switch the bar on, choose a speed level and get ready: the sticks drop and you grab them out of the air before they reach the floor.

1. Beat your own score
Count how many sticks you catch in one round, then try to beat it on the next.
2. Head to head
Take turns on the same speed level. Most catches wins the round.
3. Other-hand round
Catch with your non-dominant hand only and see how different it feels.
4. Split the bar
Stand side by side: you take the sticks on the left, your partner takes the right.
5. Earn the next speed
Move up a speed level only after a clean round with no drops.
6. Two rounds before you train
Play a couple of quick rounds before a workout, just for fun.
