How it works
Three steps.
No straps.
The sleeve does the holding, so there are no straps to fasten. This is how the set is worn in the product photos.

1. Socks on
Start with the socks: pull the knee-high pair up to just below the knee. The two white stripes sit on the ribbed cuff at the top.

2. Sleeve over the shin
Slide a sleeve over each sock with the pocket facing forward. Worn this way, the striped cuff can show above the sleeve.

3. Guard in, flap down
Slip the guard into the pocket, shell facing out and foam toward the leg, then fold the fabric flap over its top edge.

good fit

1. Measure the shin
Measure from just below the knee to just above the ankle and compare it with the 16.5 cm (6.5 in) guard. The age on a chart is only a starting point.

2. Do a trial run
Have your player gear up and run, jump and kick for a minute before the first practice, so any adjusting happens at home.

3. Center the guard
The shell should sit on the front of the shin, between the ankle and the knee, with the flap folded over its top edge.

4. Pack it as a set
Tuck the guards back into the sleeves and roll the socks around them so nothing goes missing between games.

5. Let it air out
Take the guards out of the sleeves and let everything dry before it goes back in the bag.

6. Check the fit again
Kids grow fast. Compare shin and guard again at the start of each season.

What size is it?
Medium. The guards measure about 8 x 16.5 cm (3.15 x 6.5 in) and the socks are about 33 cm (13 in) tall with a 14 cm (5.5 in) foot. The maker's size chart lists Medium for ages 6–9.
How do I know it will fit my child?
Go by the measurements rather than age alone: measure the shin from below the knee to above the ankle and compare it with the guard length. Medium is the only size we carry right now.
How do the guards stay in place?
Each guard slides into a pocket on the front of the sleeve, and a fabric flap folds over its top edge to help keep it from sliding out. The stretchy sleeve holds it against the shin, so there are no straps.
What are the guards made of?
