Press the button on the side and the prongs flip out. Push them back in until they click to close.

How do I remove the ball marker?

Press down slightly on the edge of the marker and slide it upward to take it off.

How do I repair a ball mark?

Insert the prongs at the edge of the mark, gently push the grass toward the center from several sides, then tap it flat with your putter.
