Get a bike tire off the rim

Plastic tire levers about 4.09 in long with a scoop end that lifts the tire bead and a hook end that clips onto a spoke, in a 2 or 4 pack.

1. Let the air out
Let the air out of the tube first.
2. Scoop and hook
Slide the scoop end under the tire bead, pull it back and hook it on a spoke.
3. Slide around the rim
Insert a second lever a few inches away and slide it around the rim until the bead comes free.

How many levers do I need?

Two levers are enough for most tires. The 4 pack lets you keep a set at home and a set in your saddle bag.

How do I use them?

Let the air out, slide the scoop end under the tire bead and hook the other end on a spoke. Insert a second lever a few inches away and slide it around the rim until the bead comes free.

Will they scratch my rims?

They are plastic, so they are gentler on rims than metal tools. Use them carefully on carbon or painted rims.
